Chore Rota

Printable chore chart

This page is a printable chore chart: use your browser's print command and the grid below comes out on paper without the menu or footer. It is made for housemates, couples and other adult households sharing a home. It is not a kids' reward chart.

Example: three housemates and five jobs

Rui, Sol and Tia share a house. Five jobs among three people means everyone has one or two jobs each week. The rotation moves every job one person along per week, so no one keeps the same pair of jobs.

Printing tips

A printed sheet cannot remind anyone. If your household lives in its calendar rather than on the fridge, the online chore rota generator can give each person their own dates instead.

Get a rota with calendar links instead

The chore rota generator builds the rotation from a list of names and jobs, adds real dates and gives every housemate a personal link that downloads their own calendar (.ics) file.

The free version makes rotas for up to 4 people and up to 4 weeks. More people, or a run past four weeks, need the paid Chore Rota Pro licence, which covers up to 12 people and up to 26 weeks and nothing above that.

Privacy: the schedule lives only in the link. Anyone with the link can read the names and chores in it, and nothing is stored on a server. Details are on the privacy page.
